03Conversation memory

Open their profile.
Know them again.

Every capture lands on their timeline: transcript, summary, notes, and where you met. Before you write back, open the person and pick up where you left off.

KEEP THE CONTEXT

The story lives on the person.

Not in a notes app. Not in a photo roll of cards. On their Orbit profile, next to how to reach them, so Monday still makes sense.

01

Captures attach to the person

Each voice note and scan becomes a transcript and summary on their profile. The event they came from stays with them.

02

Read the timeline before you reply

Open their profile. See what you talked about, what you promised, and any follow-ups already logged. Then write like you were there.

03

Update as the relationship grows

Add a note after a call. Tag Client, Friend, Partnership, or Referral. Log value when a follow-up turns into something real.

In the app

What you can actually do.

  • Transcript, summary, typed notes, and voice notes on the same person
  • A timeline of captures, meetings, follow-ups, and outcomes you logged
  • Tag what they became: Client, Friend, Partnership, or Referral
  • Log value from a follow-up when a meeting or deal comes from the connection
  • Event context so you remember where you met
  • Add a voice or typed note later, after a call or the next hello
THE SMALL THINGS ADD UP

Context beside the contact

Company, event, conversation, and next step sit on one profile instead of five apps.

A history you can trust

Come back weeks later and still see why this person mattered.

Better next hellos

Reference the real detail. Ask the relevant question. Sound like you paid attention.

Good questions.

A little more about Conversation memory.

Where does Orbit's context come from?

From what you save on the person: contacts, events, typed notes, voice captures, and activity you log. A useful note gives you useful context later.

Can I add notes later?

Yes. Open the person's profile to add a typed or voice note after the event, a call, or your next meeting.

How does this help when I write back?

Open their profile first. The transcript and summary are right there, so you can reference what you actually talked about instead of guessing from a name alone.

Can I log what someone became after a follow-up?

Yes. On their timeline you can tag Client, Friend, Partnership, or Referral, and log any value that came from the connection.

Does Orbit remember conversations on its own?

No. Orbit only keeps what you capture: scans, typed notes, voice notes you choose to record, and follow-up activity you log.

For conversations
worth remembering.

Be there for it. Let Orbit help you remember, follow through, and keep the relationship.
